  • 1 lb bacon (thick-cut preferred, but regular works too)

Optional Tools:

  • Baking sheet + wire rack (for oven method)
  • Aluminum foil + paper towels (for microwave method)

🔥 Method 1: Oven-Baked Bacon (Tried and True)

1. Preheat the Oven

  • Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking tray with foil for easy cleanup.
  • Place a wire rack on top to let the fat drip away during cooking.

2. Arrange the Bacon

  • Lay strips flat across the rack without overlapping.
  • Leave some space between slices for even crisping.

3. Bake to Crispy Perfection

  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, depending on how thick your bacon is and how crispy you like it.
  • Keep an eye on it during the last few minutes to avoid overcooking.

4. Drain & Serve

  • Transfer bacon to a plate lined with paper towels.
  • Serve hot with breakfast favorites or use it in any dish you love.
