When the liver is covered by a thick layer of fat, the risk of liver inflammation, cirrhosis, and liver cancer significantly increases.

A sedentary lifestyle not only increases the risk of obesity but also contributes to insulin resistance and fatty liver disease. Maintaining regular physical activity is essential in controlling weight, improving insulin sensitivity, and preventing fat accumulation in the liver.
Experts recommend engaging in at least 150 minutes of physical activity per week, such as brisk walking, cycling, or swimming. Additionally, incorporating strength training exercises will help improve health and protect the liver more effectively.
